Spring Conference 2024 – Success!

The Spring Conference Committee would like to thank you all for your positive comments and helpful suggestions on the survey. The committee looks at them every year to see what changes are possible to improve your experience. This month, as we start our planning for 2025, your suggestions will be considered unless they have been tried in the past and did not work or are not logistically possible. Last year, following your suggestions, the committee, led by the Conference Coordinator, Caia Schlessinger, researched optional venues, but none provided the space or services that we have at the Hyatt. Based on your comments, one change for next year will be to put the poster sessions in a better location. Many people indicated that they like the app, but some prefer the printed booklet, so both will be continued. Workshop rooms and ideas about the food will also be discussed.

There were requests for more elementary workshops and more practical takeaways. The Call for Proposals will be going out in September, so if you are an elementary teacher, and something has worked for you, please put in a proposal to share your success with others. If you have a practical lesson idea for any grade, a workshop is a great way to let others know about it!

Early registration will also open in September, so you can plan ahead with your school and district so that you can attend. We hope to see you there May 20, 21, & 22, in 2025 or online!
